Dick Harlow

Harold (Dick) Harlow was born and raised in Merrick County, finishing his education at Central City High School in 1952.

Dick went into the Army November 1953 taking basic training at Fort Riley before being stationed in Japan. He was honorably discharged from active duty in October 1955 and transferred to Army Reserves.

Dick married Leola Sinsel on December 31, 1956 and resided in Central City until moving to Grand Island in May 1964 where they still live in the same house. He has six children, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Dick retired from Bill Baasch Welding May 1997.
