Frederick Roeser

Frederick completed Basic Training in 1969 at Fort Lewis, Washington. He then went to OJT in Fort Hood Texas 1969-1970. 

While at Fort Hood he was assigned to the Instrument Shop to repair and calibrate electronic test equipment. During slow time he was assigned to drive for the Fort Hood Mounted Band. They drove jeeps to perform maneuvers similar to half time shows at football games. Since he had experience and a degree in electronics, he taught classes on basic electronics to the other electronic technicians in their company. 

He served at Long Bin Post, Vietnam 1970-1971

In Vietnam, he worked as an electronics technician repairing and calibrating electronic test equipment. 

SPC 4 Roeser received an honorable discharge in 1971.
