Robert Briseno SR

Robert Briseno was born on April 17, 1934, in Grand Island. Bob served in the US Army from 1956 to 1958 and was selected for assignment to the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment, The Old Guard.

He performed ceremonial honor guard duties at Arlington National Cemetery, marched in President Eisenhower’s second inaugural parade, and was a member of the All-Army Rifle Team, competing at the national level.

Bob continued a lifetime of service as an educator, civic leader, and advocate for youth and veterans in GI and Wood River.

Robert married Juanita Soto on May 17, 1975. They have three sons, ten grandchildren.
