Alecia Aguilar

Originally from Grand Island, Nebraska, Alecia Aguilar joined the Navy at 19-years-old. She was first stationed in Norfolk, VA and worked with E-2D Hawkeyes as an Aviation Maintenance Administrator (AZ). As a member of her squadron's Hawkeye transition series team, she was responsible for enrolling and scheduling over 200 people in her command. As part of her deployment in 2018, Alecia spent eight months aboard the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) in the Mediterranean Sea. Following deployment, the final assignment she served in during her seven-year active-duty military career was at the Coronado base in San Diego, California.
