Each year before the NEW banners are hung up. We will honor the recipients with a ceremony. The ceremony includes reading of the biography, viewing of the banner, and a chance to take a photo before the banners are hung. 

After the ceremony, Messersmith Electric hangs each banner at the designated location. Banners remain hung from Memorial Day-Veterans Day for two periods. At the end of the two periods banners are returned to the families for their keeping.
