Draytonn Lawver

Sergeant Draytonn Lawver was born in Grand Island, Nebraska on May 6, 2001 to Justin and Cristy Lawver. He has three siblings; Daemonn, Dawsonn and Daylynn. He grew up and attended school in St. Paul (K-10) His junior year he transferred to GINW. He graduated from Northwest in 2019. 

He enlisted into the United States Marine Corps in June of 2019. After graduation, he received orders to Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Virginia. Shortly after arriving, he was promoted to Lance Corporal and then to Corporal in May of 2021. Shortly after his promotion, he became Alpha and Delta support NCO. He was part of Operation Allies Welcome and was awarded the Humantarian Service Medal and the Armed Forces Service Medal. B

efore leaving his unit, Sgt. Lawver was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. He was then given orders to Camp Lejeune to 1st Battalion 10th Marines, HQ Battery where he was Battalion Chief Dispatcher. He was promoted to Sergeant in January of 2024. He graduated from the basic recruiter course on Dec 13, 2024 in San Diego, California. Sgt. Lawver lives in Columbia, South Carolina with his wife Gigi where he is currently on recruiting duty.
