James Chambers

James Chambers, born in 1945 in Nebraska City NE, graduated from Ravenna in 1961.

He was drafted into the Army in 1966 with Basic Training at Ft Leonard Wood MO, and Helicopter Repair/Aviation Training at Ft Rucker AL/Ft Eustis VA. In 1967 he was sent to Vietnam to Bien Hoa, Long Thanh, and Long Binh with 200th Assault Support Helicopter CO/Buffalo Combat Aviation Battalion.

In 1968, he was discharged Specialist E-4. He married Jane Baker, Ravenna NE and had a family of 3 boys. He later married Marcia Kucera, living in GI NE, retiring to Johnson Lake where he died in 2012.
