Kyle Codner

LCpl Kyle Codner was born in Grand Island, NE on March 2, 1985. He grew up on a farm near Shelton, NE and went to school there until he graduated from Shelton High School in 2003.

Soon after, he left for bootcamp at MCRD in San Diego, CA. After bootcamp he trained as a Combat Engineer at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.

In February of 2004 he was deployed to Iraq. On May 26, 2004 he was killed by a roadside bomb. We will forever miss him and he will always be our hero.
