Max Schwieger

Max Schwieger enlisted in the Nebraska National Guard on December 21, 1940, and entered into active service with the U.S. Army on December 23, 1940.

He served during World War II in the Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe Campaigns with the 134th Infantry Regiment.

He received the Combat Infantry Badge, the Good Conduct Medal, the American Defense Service Ribbon, and two Bronze Stars. He was honorably discharged on October 25, 1945.
