PILOT TWO ENGINE 

Served 12 months overseas with the 4th Combat Cargo Group based in the China Burma India Theater as 1st pilot of a C-46. 

Completed 436 combat cargo missions, 768 combat hours. 

Had approximately 1521 hours military flying time. 

Supplied the British 14th Army in the Burma campaign and flew gasoline to the Chinese Amy over the “hump”.
