Donald Arrants

Donald was born February 7th, 1941, in Kearney, NE. He and his 3 siblings grew up in Amherst. Donald was drafted in 1964 into the US Army.
His basic training was in Ft. Lenard wood, MO and was permanently stationed in Ft Polk, LA with the 168th Combat Engineers and was transferred to the 46th Construction Engineers. He was a crane operator in Viet Nam.
Donald was honorably discharged in 1966. He married Marilyn Arrants and had 5 Children. Donald received his degree from Kearney State College in education. He taught for 31 years of which 28 were in Grand Island.
