Earl Sautter

Earl Sautter, Technical Sergeant from Cairo, NE. 

1977, Earl joined the US Army as a (16-Charlie) Nike-Hercules Fire Control Crewman with assignments in Florida and Texas. After 3 years of service, his rank at discharge was Sergeant (E-5).

1982, Earl joined the US Air Force as a Security Policeman and completed 17 years of active duty. His first assignment was the 46th SPS, Peterson AFB, CO.

1984, Earl was assigned his first short tour to Izmir Turkey.

1985, he was assigned to the 7625th SP Squadron at the USAF Academy, Colorado Springs CO.

1990, Earl volunteered for a special duty assignment at the US Disciplinary Barracks, Ft Leavenworth Kansas.

1992, Earl was assigned to Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ with the 355th SP Squadron. He was deployed to Saudi Arabia for operation DESERT STORM, and Panama for JOINT TASK FORCE-SAFE HAVEN.

1995, Earl was assigned to the 36th SP Squadron, Anderson AFB Guam. 

1996, Earl was assigned to McClellan AFB, CA with the 77th Security Forces Squadron and was deployed to the 31st Air Base Squadron, San Vito, Italy for Operation Joint Guard Tech

Sgt Sautter retired in 1999 with 20 years of service earning numerous medals, including THE MERITORIOUS SERVICE MEDAL.
