James Colgan

James Allen Colgan graduated from Grand Island Senior High and entered the US Army in 1987. He attended basic and advanced military police training at Fort McClellan, Alabama where he received Expert Marksmanship Badges for rifle, pistol 45 cal, 9 MM and grenades.

He was stationed in Germany for 2 years. He deployed to SWA Persian Gulf and served in both Desert Shield and Desert Storm. After a short duty assignment in El Paso TX, his next duty station was Loghorn Army Depot in Italy. He finished his military career at Fort Bliss on December 28th, 1994. During his time in the US Army he received many accolades for his service.

James has one son and one granddaughter.
