Michael Cockerham

Michael Cockerham was born on November 26, 1982, in Grand Island, NE. Mike is married to Justine (Beers) Cockerham, and together they have three children: Peyton, Paisley, and Parker. They enjoy spending time with their children, camping, and being outdoors. Mike is an avid aviation enthusiast. He owns his own business and semi-truck, driving routes across the central US. 

He is a dedicated husband and father. Mike joined the Air Force in January 2002, attending basic training at Lackland AF Base. He was then stationed at Luke AF Base in Arizona, where he earned the rank of Senior Airman with the 56 AMXS/62nd FS. He later transitioned his AF career to the National Guard in October 2004, serving in Tucson, AZ; Sioux City, IA; and his exit base in Lincoln, NE, with the 155th Air Wing as an F-16 crew chief. Mike was honorably discharged in January 2008. He reenlisted in the Army in May 2010, attending WTC at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and AIT at Fort Knox, Kentucky. He was then stationed at Fort Riley, KS, where he earned the rank of Sergeant with the First Infantry as a Cavalry Scout. Mike was medically discharged in January 2013 due to a knee injury.
